For those considering starting a mobile detailing business, the overhead is much lower than it was in the past.  While the mobile detailing still potentially requires a power source for the vacuum used during the interior car cleaning, there is no need for a hose or a bucket during the exterior car cleaning.  These new products on the market are designed to be used completely without water.  They are sprayed on and wiped off.  This applies to the cleaners used on the upholstery and carpets as well.  And being able to advertise that the business specializes in green cleaning can be very good marketing in a time of concern over further damaging the earth.
