They are perhaps inspired by Santa Claus, who despite having to give out gifts to millions of children, never makes a mistake ? such flawless is his planning capacity. The aforesaid group of people perhaps wants to achieve Santa-like success and hence, embark on their gift shopping spree long before the Christmas season kicks in high gear.

Black Friday, that is the day after thanksgiving, is officially the time for the Christmas season to set in. The early Christmas shopper starts making plans for Christmas season weeks before Black Friday, during the early days of October. Apart from this, he or she is in a better position to do comparison shopping when the time for Christmas shopping actually begins.

It is also important to know that retailers do not offer actually rock bottom sales at best prices during the Christmas season which is officially noted as the best sales season of the year. Two very significant days for early Christmas shoppers are Columbus Day on 9th October and Veterans? Day on 11th November, when those with gifts already in mind can actually proceed to buy gifts at discounted rates offered during those two days.

If someone is an early Christmas shopper, it does not mean that he or she cannot go shopping again during the peak season. It simply means that the bulk of Christmas shopping will be over before the rush hours roll in, with only a small number of things to be bought during the actual shopping season. The best part of going for Christmas shopping early is the fact that the entire work can be carried out in an extremely relaxed and hassle free manner.
